Lustration: A Collection of Short Stories

Lustration is a collection of short comics by Joe Latham.

Exploring themes of Anxiety, Greif, Love, Loss, Growing up, intertwined with Fantasy and Fairytales. Concepts interweved and overlapping. I've been telling people that it's book exploring existential crisis', but with a thread of hope pulling us through.

I used some of these shorter stories as a way to explore the medium, to try and experiment without losing too much if they weren't succesful. In 2022 I ran a Kickstarter campaign to fun printing them in a collected book, and it was more successful than I had anticipated.

Some of these stories are very personal, some are poetic, some are personal wrapped up poetry. Like I said, it's a way to experiment, to try and connect with the reader. 128 pages in length.
